i cant open add and remove programs in the control panel. It says value creation failed at line 472 and another question my computer had to physically dump the memory ( the blue screen that came up) what does that mean.

i may sound dumb. but u said take the battery off in the bios screen...hot do u get to that

hey all, i got the blue screen today while i was burning a cd. does anyone know what i should do. seems my computer is workin fine now....but im not sure if i should do anything. system restore? i wasnt installing anything. help

hey i have a 8890 and it seems like the life on my battery is dying...it isnt lasting more than an hour now. is there anyway i can revive its life.

when starting frmo the cd i get to c:\windows\ but what do i type in that directory to start up

its the boot screen. where it usually says "LOADING WINDOWS XP" i had changed that and it comes up and then it tries to load xp but then restarts itself
