I got the same yesterday....gonna try it out in a little while! I fired it up last night after the install just to have a look, that first part was really cool, great effects.
Not sure if this has any bearing but I read where the Sony burner we have works much better with Sonic than with Nero.
I just got my new XPS about 2 weeks ago coming from a Sager 5680. As far as the screen goes, the only real difference I can see is the wide screen effect from the XPS...very nice, but the image seems no different than my beloved Sager....
Given the power of the XPS with the 9800 card I would think it will be able to render the games and apps of the future farther down the road than the 9200.

Dont know about the first question. When I did mine it was using winflash and it ran on its own after unzipping. As to your second question, I flashed the bios then installed the drivers and all is well.
I just did the bios and driver update, no problems with the install using the bios that uses winflash instead of a floppy. Maybe its just wishful thinking, but this seems to have made a big difference in getting rid of the sloppy...
I was having the same problem with my new iXPS. I unchecked smooth scrolling and now all is well. thanks for the link Murtaza.
