you dont buy a desktop replacement to run off the batteries. You couldnt even watch a full length movie on one. get a centrino powered laptop and you can watch atleast two

I heard 3790 got 4 hours on dvd watching with a 12 cell. That is the best battery life I have ever heard of from a single battery laptop.

qosimo has a brighter screen and easy access to tv/dvd watching. Its got really bad battery life though. I dont think i can safely tell you much else.
