just to let you know ive recieved it back and it still charges slowly but i got a new case... im not gonna send it back again cos of the time it took. ON THE PLUS SIDE! the raided drives botted striaght up, no problems AT ALL!

thats no way back in the day... i remeber back in the day working on a 60Mb 5.25" winchester drive took ages to format it and then someone forgot to park it before shutting it down .... when i turned it on it was just like a gun...

plus did you have this problem?

it charged when on but at a VERY slow rate... plus charges in about 4 hours when off.

not yet cheers for that info cjdshaw. anyone else got any other views.?
