check with dell again when would you have to return your old one. some companies would charge you a full amount if you did not return the item within a specific time after the rma was issued.

i think p-m is the way to go. especially if you are not reselling, you want to have good cpu which it can last you for few more years.

does dell sell 6500a? last time i asked they did not sell that model thou. to answer your question, 6500a fits into 700m's dvd bay without additional modifications. you can get one from newegg.com but it won't be supported /...

i think it is based on the shipped date. i might be wrong thou. usually most of the companies provide the return policy based on the shipped date. on the other hand, if someone selected the shipping method which requires longer time...
