I now have problems running Doom3. Ocassionally, it will lag the screen and take the once smooth frame rate and create a choppy slowdown in the game. Anyone else have this issue? Is it only when the battery level drops or are others...

Villious: I am not a Moron... I know how to Fn+F7 to switch displays... this was not the issue. I have worked as a Performance & Capacity Planning Engineer for 15+ years. I sorta know my way around a notebook... ya know! ...

I have a dead 9860 now... Dammit... I remember feeling bad for your stuck pixels syn and being glad mine didnt have any... then today... I shut it down for a few hours, came back and only the power light came on then the fan worked.......

'I do not see the small switch you speak of near the power switch.. Are you talking about the 9860?

9860 Dead Display.... Anyone else have this problem? Shut the thing down, then came back a few hours later and nothing.... I hear fans and the Power light goes on, but no display.... Tired w/ AC and without. NO GO! Please help...

well they better change their manual for the 9860 then.... it says to fully discharge and it is recommended to do every 30 days.... <shrug>

P.S. I even lose power when it is plugged in sometimes. From 100% to 85% when plugged in for 15 minutes. This has happened only once, but it seems the more days I own this 9860, the worse the battery gets.... GRRRRRR!

I am curious to hear what everyone else's battery life is.... I am having a B@#$% of a time even getting this thing charged. It takes like 8+ hours to get a full charge after a full discharge. MY battery life for just web surfing is...
