I have the same problem with my Z63A. Sometimes the screen will just go COMPLETELY white... although my computer is not frozen. My solution to "fixing" it was to press Fn + F1... go into standby, then bring the system back...

...I don't think the Asus Z70V has a wireless console, does it? I thought only models that come with Bluetooth have the Wireless Console...(and the Z70V doesn't have Bluetooth as far as I know...) I dunno, I could be wrong. Correct...

yup...c9tech is right; you have to turn "Execute Disable Bit" off in the BIOS.
