Macs are a bad choice because of incompatabilities and price... that outweighs all pros in my opinion. I like the HP zv6000, I think that would be a good choice for your dad. Anything less than 15 inches seems too small though, so...

I've found that if you've got 60 gigs worth of stuff, you've got a good bit of deletable stuff. That might be just me, but its why I chose to go with the 7200 60g. You can make space, you can't make the speed.

Thats an excellant question... But I'd have to guess that they use about the same. The USB draws power from the USB which draws power from the battery, and the bluetooth draws power straight from the battery skipping the USB.

Any other input? I'm really curious if I'm in the danger zone at 67C. The actual laptop could fry an egg.
