Alienware 7700 doesn't compare to the price of the 9100. The specs are hot... but the price is not. I priced out the 7700 with all the same specs as my 9100 and came up with a machine that was $850 more. Could buy my kids another...
Imho....
Over the years I have bought about 9 computer systems. Radio Shack, Apples, Compaq, Gateway and Dell. My last 4 systems (2 Desktop, 2 lappys) have been Dell's and I won't go back. Dell offers some of the most powerful computers for...
I have three computers on my wireless system at home (1 desktop, 2 laptops). One of the laptops has a Linksys card and my new lappie has the Dell 1350. I find that I have better range with the 1350.

The thing that pissed me off the most about the deal was that I setup my system online, but actually called in the order and was approved over the phone for the 12 months no interest. In fact, I asked the Dell Customer Service Rep twice...
9100 here... have six kids and a wife. Pretty hard to justify another $1000 for the SKULLZ snap cover. 9100, 3.2Ghz, 1GB ram, ATI 9800 256MB, 60G HDD, 8x DVD-RW, WUXGA, Internal Wireless
