That's it, so maybe the NERO software is faulty or the DVD-R's??? I used copy disc to backup the restore disk just testing and set it to maximum speed and burned it at 2x... I'm puzzled

I have a few DVD-R 8x capable and could only burn it at 2x maybe I got a bad (slower) burner? How can I check?

I found 430/234 on mine with ati tool. run it at 420/225 when gaming to be safe
