Yes but not the rescue disk for when the bios goes south and won't boot. Have to have the top secret disk w/ code for forcing the bios to restore off the protected ROM on the bios.
does anyone have a sager rescue disk to force bios to reset from the protected boot block of the bios chip. updating bios failed and took out bios code. can't boot from disk to run flash utility.

couple other things to check/try...
--check your cars alt. output voltage (older car or battery?)
--tighten your connection in the cig lighter or better yet wire direct
--remove laptop battery and try running off inverter (if OK...
to each his own... number one cause of laptop failure is heat and that problem is getting worse not better as CPU's get faster along with machines having DVD's, TV cards, etc. etc.

it's a good idea to shut down and restart on a daily basis for many reasons.
