it will be a long while before you see a pure 40gb flash drive at an affordable price. i think in about 18 months you'll see hybrid 2.5 inch hard drives that incorporate around 4gb of flash memory. those are going to be sweet.

so this is what i'm curious about, when a chipset and cpu debut together, has it ever been possible to upgrade that cpu to the next generation chip (and still take advantage of all the new abilities of the new chip) WITHOUT a bios...
no way a 7300 would outperform a 6800. in fact i think that the 6600 will even beat it out, though i think they would be very close.
