honestly....i think probably not. the total price usually depends on the components used...and not by the release of other notebooks. i could be wrong...just wait and see. the 4780 hasn't even been scheduled to be released yet.

if u didn't install the drivers...then update the video tuner drivers. the ones off the cd doesn't work well with hyperthreading.

there was a problem with recording from tv studio and having hyper threading on. did u download the latest version of the studio off of sager's website? if u haven't...uninstall everything...including the drivers. then download teh...

yeah..should work with any ac'97 sound chip. they don't differentiate drivers for different chips so its probably all in one.
