it might work for the 4780. if the design is the same as the 4760 one of those tips might fit into the 4780. however the power requirement might not work for it.
8890 is mini-usb and bluetooth, it doesn't have mini-pci. i use the linksys pci g card and it has a hump at the top...but its smooth on the bottom...so u could use the bottom slot.
some questions i can answer:
1)i don't know the timings or manufacturer...but u can upgrade the memory easily...its right under the keyboard/heat shield and uses sodimm modules. it won't void the warrenty unless u caused the damage...
smooth as a baby's arse on mine. only thing is...now i get the flickering everyone is talking about. i only got this after i upgraded to the 7.93 whql drivers on sager's website.
this is a known issue..and has happened before. its usually when the computer crashes when going into suspend mode or doing intensive cpu work and going into bsod...the fan doesn't kick in both cases...and the cpu overheats. i haven't...
same problem happened to me. i have the linksys wrt54g. i have to set it 10mbps for it to recognize. however, the weird thing is that it works fine on 100 with my older 4 port linksys router. perhaps its a firmware issue.
install the hotkey drivers located on ur driver disc.
the first button opens ur mail client. the second button opens ur web browser. the third button is customizable to whatever u want.
