I don't think it makes any difference at all myself. I ordered my 8890 with no OS. I installed XP Pro & had it running with all the drivers installed just fine before I ever opened the manual & I have no problems whatever.

I'm sure if you had motied it right off Sager would have replaced it with no problem. My 8890 was ordered with a 2nd hard drive bracket & they forgot to include the IDE cable(or whatever it's called in a laptop) I called Sager...
I'm almost positive my 8887 had two leads, but I don't have it anymore so I can't check. My 8890 has two & the range is amazing on it.
