thanks for the comments. i'll just compare them and see. the main reason i'm scared to get the 12" is b/c they weren't upgraded, but i guess they are still good though.

i think you'd be fine with a mac. you could do all the microsoft office stuff easily, and like abf said, you'd be able to connect to the network. i don't see what's holding you back, if that's what you want
thanks for the reply. i want OSX, but some people act like apple's laptop hardware is way behind pc hardware. and now you can run osx86 on a pc laptop. what do you think? buy the apple or pc? considering i'm selling my current pc laptop...
