the core clock and memory clock are both faster on the GTX as compared to the GT... newegg is still pretty good, but make sure you check out zipzoomfly.com and ewiz.com as well...
I've had good experiences with both the better Antec and CoolerMaster power supplies, 450W and up should be good for your needs (higher if you ever want SLI/Crossfire though)...
