I sent them an e-mail with my address and they replied the day after telling me they were sending out the fix. I got the fix a few days later in the mail. I have a feeling Sager is far more efficient with e-mail than with phone calls.

I don't think you can do this. The SETI@home servers would need to be listening on whatever port you could change your client to. I'm not even sure what port SETI@home runs on.
