you know the FAQ was made for a reason. someone spent a lot of time writing and putting it together. why dont you take your time and read the thing? maybe you might find the answer there.

no your cpu will not burn out, but it will throttle more and slow down your games. with i8kfangui, you can control the fan to turn on at different temperatures to prevent the cpu/gpu from overheating and throttling down.

does your computer go on standby? if it does that might be the problem. use dell quickset to change the settings. have it turn off screen and hd only and dont go to standby.

i leave the battery in as well, but I discharge to about 30% once every two weeks by using it and not leaving the AC adapter plugged in
