Ya definatly hook that thing up to an external monitor, that should narrow it down quick... Then just call DELL, they are usually good about replacing things (although you might be on the phone for an hour troubleshooting with them)

AS5 is definatly worth it. I didnt think that I would get much of an improvement but my idle temps dropped 4-6c. And it was a fun project to open this beast up.

I'm really liking these drivers compared to the 80.40's. I got a HUGE improvement while running FEAR.

You could always get a copy of norton Ghost (now called "live state") and back up your data that way. It works great and it compresses the info so it dosnt eat up as much of your HD....

I use firefox and hit ctrl and + to increase the fonts if i need it. it works great and I love using firefox.

I got my x-box to USB adapter from lik-sang.com. It is great quality and works great. I use it for games like GTA, racing games, flying games and others where an analog joystick is better. For FPS I use the mouse.

Don't forget that you can tweak the digital vibrance in the nvidia controlls to get a bit more color if you like. That always seems to make the colors pop just a bit more. As always set it to personal taste.
