Have you seen a Studio XPS up close and hands on yet? Those laptops are fantastic. Great looks, great hardware, and best price. The pictures and specs on the web pages don't do those laptops any justice at all.
I personally would not use a laptop for picture editing. LCDs in laptops are notoriously poor on color properties.
