I would say go for 1.5G. dual chanel isn't very useful for your application.

did you check the price for D820? well, I just noticed that you chose 100G 7200 Harddrive. usually it's overpriced on dell's website. you can save some by order from other places?

1600 for E1505? I would get D820 for that price. or XPS1210

warranty is good for resale

go with Latitude D620. You won't regret.

I got my E1505 two weeks ago. It's a wonderful laptop and I love it. but it ocassionally gives out very loud beep, even when I am not using it. I disable the beep in system, tried everything... how to get a replacement?
