The N6010 does get hot. But the heat is not felt by the user.
When I say it gets hot, I mean through temperature sensors. It has good cooling therefore the unit itself does not feel hot nor warm. Somepeople report that fan is sorta...

Your evaluation on the Fujitsu was the Colour-Enchanced Crystal View on the N3510. It was meant to re-create a more natural color rather than a very bright screen. Do consider looking at a Fujitsu Crystal View like the N6010.

I think depends what power mode you are in, I am usually in the Portable/notebook mode. It doesnt run that much. But when I am in Desktop/Home mode, the fan is always on - but with some kinda music running, it is unnoticable.
