the 7k60 is the fastest hard drive for laptops right now it was extremely easy to install into the 700m and was worth the money just make sure you have the drivers for the machine on a cd before changing hard drives

i'm very satisfied with it, especially with the 7k60

yeah i got them downloaded (the chipset and the modem) it's all good now thanks for the list of drivers that is needed, i'm working on those right now

i didn't get a drivers cd with my 700m, all i got was windows kp home sp2, wordperfect, cyberlink powerDVD, sonic recordnow, and encarta 2004 cds with it

i just installed my 7k60 into my i700m i installed windows xp onto it now what else do i need to install on it? i'm having troubles conecting to the internet with it, it says 'modem removed' under the dial up icon
