$5000? If you want/need the best: X7200 (Clevo/Sager). I believe this s the same machine as the Eurocom Panther, mentioned earlier on. A faster portable does't exist...

Sager's NP9285 comes with the fastest DESKTOP i7 processor. Apart from the new X7200, no laptop can beat its performance. Why have Sager (and Clevo) portables been excluded from the benchmarks?

My good old Sager np9261 runs a Q9650 processor that scores a 7.3!
