Wow, I appriciate the ultra fast responses!!!! My local battery shop is very expensive and their stock is usually very old as a result. I tried to get a laptop battery from them and it took 2 months and I finally gave up.

I cannot find one anywhere and ebay has them over in the UK which I am not comfortable buying stuff overseas. If anyone has one please let me know. I pay with MO or paypal. Thanks.

You can try a cable from an m520. Try ebay, other than that, you are out of luck.

Your laptop should never get 133 F on the outside unless your room temp is like 90 F, or if your fans are not working.

This will sound really stupid, but I purchased an extra hard drive caddy for my emachines m6811 back when, and now I have lost the screws. Nobody locally wants to waste the time letting me look. Anybody have some laying around? ...

Take a look at the bios revision, it is possible they installed a new mainboard. 100% cpu usage indicates a faulty resource. It coulkd be spyware as the 6811 did not come with sp2. Even 5 minutes with sp1 and you could be infected.
