with parallels and bootcamp, you can have windows and eat an apple too. if macs and os weren't such good designs, pc makers wouldn't be making things look more mac'ish or os'ish.

have you been able to get a signal through external monitor before, or was this the first time you've tried it? If not, do you have the correct connector? Did you enable external monitor?
