this problem is not a problem with intel card. thats way it is. only dell trubemobile cards is 100% supported for the wifi led functionality. Hate the wifi act up, get truemobile simple.

Thats what ibm reps told me. I was quite surprised too. They said the reason for that is to ensure 100% compability. But i couldn't find anything like it in the documentations on warranty.

Great review. I just ordered mine as well, Mine is 2687E4U since it's customizable and cheaper. This is my specs 2.0ghz 15 inches UXGA 1600x1200 512mb ram (with another stick shipping seperately - cheaper) 60gb 7200rpm cdrw combo...

I suggest direct from IBM since if you use ram from other places, it'd void the warranty.
