My 600m does this too and you can hear the optical drive trying to read the drive (a one click sound). It usually happens when I move the laptop.
The RCA/svideo outputs will work on that adapter but not SPDIF. M70, xps 2 and some others do support spdif but most notebooks do not. If your user guide doesnt' mention spdif out in the multimedia section, you don't have it.
I don't recall having the same problem before I had my 600m's chassis replaced with the D600's. But I can confirm that on the D600 when the lid is completely closed nothing is touching the lcd - one can see this by looking on the side....
There are software solutions such as http://www.bandwidthcontroller.com/ that enable you do do this. But require you to rearange your pc as a gateway as opposed to the router and have the PC run something like ICS. I don't know how 25...
From experience: a week assuming they have all the replacement parts in that particular depot.
You mayhave to do a registry hack for a mic column to show up in the volume control panel. Before doing that see if you can enable it in the volume options.
Save it. a rechargable battery can later be attached. Directly behind it there is another little compartament which I was thinking of using for LED.
To reiterate my request for some time now: ability to show all 4 temps at the same time in system tray with different backgrounds/forgrounds to distinguish them.

cmos battery. the newer 8600's have an on board coin cell battery but the cmos battery can be attached to it as well.
