I want to install 4gb of ram in my 1710 but I read if I have the mobile Intel 945 chipsets that I will not be able to see more than 3 gb even if I run Vista 64, is this true? As why would any one add 4 gb if true. Thanks, LeeU

Had it on my 1710 for 24hrs, no problems with any thing, games, cad etc all are working just fine and as more drivers become availiable it will get even better. LeeU

m94mni, No kidding that chip is hard to find!!! I found a few T7600's but no "G". What sucks is I live less than 2 miles from Intel where most of thier chips are made here in Rio Rancho NM, rats. Lee

I'm installing it on fri, I'm also going to try and instal Vista 64 bit as I have had no problems with Vista 32 bit. My next upgrade will be to 4gb of memory from 2gb. Thanks, LeeU

I noticed that I now have a total of 783mb of graphics memory, 512mb of dedicated memory, 0 mb system video memory, 271mb shared system memory. Is this normal and do I really have 783mb of video memory now with Vista? I have the 7900...
