The Pentium M's do great in gaming machines really. I have a 1.6 GHz in my 8600, and it runs Half Life 2 as smooth as butter. I think a 2 GHz Pentium M would pretty much be on par with a Pentium 4 3.4 GHz as far as gaming is concerned.

Fans set to go on high at 55 C and low between 49 and 38 C. Fans hardly ever kick into high, so CPU:~40-55 GPU temps are listed in my sig. Never exceeds 65 C with the gpu mod.
