I have it in the external slot and finally disabled the auto reboot so I could read the message. It indicateds a driver issue with new hardware (RAM) so I'm off to troubleshoot that. I'd hate to have to send it back but can't have it...

I'm probably cursing myself by saying yes but - absolutely. With the exception of a dead CD ROM within the first 35 days this machine has been flawless. So far, no curse of the hinges has haunted me and I have yet to see screen flicker....
No...I forked out a bit more at a total of $209.
Actually it's corsair...i've used that successfully previously in desktops and hope I made the right choice.
