I am pretty sure its because 6 pin supplies power to the device and 4 pin doesnt. If you were supplying power from the laptop, run time would decrease dramatically

Hi all, New member here. I just ordered the 9860 and have just read up on installing the OS with the raid drivers etc. Does anyone know how this will effect recovering with Nortons Ghost? I always make a ghost image after getting it...
