Just to clarify further, the Pentium 4-M does not have a 1mb L2 cache. I believe that is only for the P-M.

the sager laptops use only the P4 desktop chip a P4M is like a desktop chip but always downclocks to save power...so essentially you are never getting the full potential of the chip but in retrospect u gain a little battery...
