Did you determine it was the glossiness rather than the rez? Dell also made a matte WUXGA that worked on both the 9200 and 9300.

Nice! Just one suggestion on the benchmarks. Run 3dmark06 instead of 05. 06 is multithreaded, so it gives a better indication of how the dual cores perform.
