dude are you sure you're ready to own a laptop? maybe it's not too late to return it.
performance is nice to have but alot of people just use their laptops for email, internet, office apps and movies. If you need more power than go for it, if not then smaller is usually better.
it pretty much does everything that IE does but with no spyware or popups. Plus you can get some cool plugins for it and tabbed browing is nice.
you have to take the plastic housing off the original drive that came with the 700m then remove the PCB from the back. Pop it in the new drive put the housing on that one and it should work. No telling if the front bezel will line...
