I'd recommend booting off of the Media Direct button, then doing a full shutdown once Media Direct loads. If that doesn't work, then boot into Windows XP Safe Mode, then do a full shutdown once WinXP loads. If that fails, then call Dell.
There is a big difference. Laptops with LED-backlit displays are thinner, lighter, cooler laptop, with better brightness and colors. The reason that you can't find one from the refurbished store is because everybody wants them.

The 2.0MP camera does not fit in an LED screen frame, due to the LED screen frame being thinner than the CCFL frame. Installing the screen is pretty straight forward. I believe there are instructions for disassembly on the Dell website.
