That's a bummer. I just turned off the lights and looked at the same screen on the Samsung X4766 WXGA+ that I got and I'm happy to say there is little to no leakage. Thank goodness.

Observations today:
When I turn on the machine, both fans are running slow and temperatures are about 25-26 for CPU and about 36-38 for GPU. If I stress the thing running 3Dmark or PCMark I'll generally see the second fan go...
