I get the same thing. I use my laptop for djaying and my speakers pick this static up easily. And you are right, it only happens when the AC Adapter is plugged in. Has anyone found a way to rectify this problem? Ive been living with it...

i think the scratches on my winxp disc finally got to it. so ima try a friends cd and use my key. ill see how it goes. thx for the insanely fast reply tho lol.

How do I install windows from my cd? In bios, i went to the "boot" section and moved the "CD-Rom drive" all the way up. When i clik save and exit, it then reboots but then it gives me a black screen sayin something...
