Just saw the Sony A Series A190 at my local CompUSA today. XBrite WUXGA screen is just beautiful.

Well, I guess it's a moot point the exchange iXPS shipped today. I just checked the Dell site. As a side discussion does anyone have recommendations on repartitioning the drive or know where I could look.

I had a defective screen on my IXPS and I wanted to return the system for a refund. I got convinced by Dell to do an exchange. System is 3.4 G GHz, 7200rpm, 1G Ram, 4xDVD... Looks like replacement system is ready to ship....

Spoke with Dell Return manager today and they are shipping out a new XPS system in exchange. So hope I get a good display this time.

Thanks for the replies on my Inspiron XPS screen issue. I'm planning on sending it back. I just can't believe they would send it out the door that way. I don't know what testing means in their schedule.

Just received Inspiron XPS and notice on start-up and since then a noticable light band about 1 inch from the right side and about 1 inch wide from top to bottom. Any ideas?
