Gah! I hate waiting! I've decided on the 5680, but I want to wait until the custom colors are available. Now that tha 8890's are shipping, and the 5680's are supposedly a week away, I'm starting to get anxious.

How does one go about it? Just call up Sager and say, "Hi, I bought $FOO, and I see that $BAR is out, I'd like to swap out the guts?"

I don't have an answer for you, but as a potential new sager owner, I'd like to know this as well.
