That should be ok. I did a quick look at it. The 333MHz issue is from the older model 8880 and they haven't updated the user manual. I like quite a few 8890 owners have been running 400MHz x 2 Gb for some time and it works really well.

Just as an aside, did you read my comments in a previous post about the speed difference between a 3.4EE and the 3.2 chips. It may not be worth the hassle to do the upgrade. You will get better results from tweaking XP, buying 7200...
It will take a P4EE which is what you are talking however the fans will be on a lot more when ambient temps are high (ie summer). Disclaimer: I have not done this upgrade but others have I believe. Do a search on the forum for P4EE...
