** First I'd recommend that you download all of the latest drivers and burn them to a CD.
1) The cdrw doesn't need drivers. Just install the factory burning software or use one that you may already own (Nero, Roxio, etc.).
1) Look in the device manager under disk drives and google the part number you see listed.
2) Pull the memory module and google the markings or post them in this thread. You can also try running cpu-z
