i would also say 9700
the 3800 is better. Thats why its called a 3800 and the other is a 3700. AMD takes the cache into consideration before giving a PR rating.

I remember someone posting on these forums that replacing the Ferrari 4200rpm HD with a 7200rpm HD reduced heat. Howeveer i dont own one so i personaly have no experience. Hopefully someone else will chime in soon.

the overclocked 9700 pro seems like a sad gimick to me. They only list the core speed, so im guessing the RAM is still slow. Cant say for sure untill we see benchmarks, but id bet that its nothing great. i dont mean to hate on...
OK so the hardware is available, now lets see some good US companys put some new models together. And i realy hope they make something like this with a 15.4" uxga screen thats under 6lb.
