I'm sorry, but here in Italy TM8003Lmi has 1,6 Banias, not Dothan...Are you sure about yours?!

My tm8003 start and stop first level fan at the same deg. No problem because mine get that deg only few times and the fan start for about3 or 5 seconds every 10/20 minutes. Let me understand: yours get 44deg at 600mhz in 5 minutes?!

Try using SpeedSwitcXP. Probably windowz power management fails somewhere (my profile portable/laptop fail! With battery force CPU to stay at 1,6 ghz!!! With AC the CPU goes to 600Mhz!!! It isn't normal!!!). Wip

My 8003 is Banias 1,6 with 1Mb cache. No appreciable difference with DOthan 2.0Ghz 2Mb cache in normal use. You can find differences only with very big power consumption software like Video Editing. Wip
