I have a 9860 and I do have to say that it is better than the Sony or HP screens. It's beautiful!! I think you're better off with the Sager over the Sony or HP in terms of power and the LCD Screen.

I don't know about a Backpack, but there's a couple of Targus cases that seem to work really well. There's one that I believe is a "City Messenger" (or something close to that) that has some nice features to it.

I ordered mine on 12/4 and received it yesterday. It took 10 days b/c of Sager sat on the order for about 3 days before actually beginning to process it so I imagine about a week once the order is placed.

First of all - when you get your 9860, make sure to follow the manual and install the drivers in order. Things tend not to work correctly on the 9860 if it's not done correctly. Second - take a look at this...
