To any one that might care Batterygeek.net has an external battery for $189 that they'll claim with moderate use will last 5-7 hours @ 19 volts. I might give it a try...it's a bargain compared to the 300+ dollars I've seen.

Just to throw another option out there I'd look into the Acer Travelmate 8100 series. I have one and love it...it has all the bells and whistles too.

I'm going to be flying to London soon and was wondering if someone knew of a 3-5 hour external battery that would work with my Acer Travelmate 8100. Any links,experiences or opinions would be fantastic. I almost opted for a back-up...
