Okay, thanks for the input guys, however, there's still one question that remains to be answered by anyone, yet: Will it cost extra (the DVI port; w/ the supposed Z70Va(s) that are coming in mid-to-late-September?)? Thanks
Oh yeah, I forgot to add: With the Intel a/b/g wireless "card" that is being offered; is it internal or external (ie is it an actual card that sticks out of one of the notebook's ports?) I was mainly talking about the one that is on the Integrated System Technologies website. Also, will the DVI port help w/ using a projector w/ the notebook? Thanks
Yeah...I dunno about LCDs, but I may wanna maybe hook it up to a tv or projector or something; not sure... Plus, I dunno if I have much patience to wait around for the models w/ the DVI ports. However, whenever they come out, will those models be more expensive you think? Also, they won't be getting rid of the bluetooth will they? Thanks a bunch everyone.
So as of yet, there aren't any consumers w/ one in their possession, right? Also, what is that extra port that is supposed to be included w/ later models? DVI port or something; what are its advantages/disadvantages? Thanks
PS-I'd appreciate it if I didn't get "burned" for asking totally "noobish" questions (I haven't been @ these forums for quite a while).
Am I better off configuring a Gateway M460E w/ a 15.4" WXGA Ultrabright TFT Active Matrix (1280 x 800 max. resolution), or 15.0" SXGA+ TFT Active Matrix (1400 x 1050 max. resolution)? I'm talking about gaming, and just viewing pleasure.
Okay, thanks for the info. Yeah, that 5.0 engine's a monster. I think the V6 'ill suffice for now. The only disappointing thing is: My parents won't let me get a standard; it has to be a freakin' automatic! It'll have no more than 50,000 miles on it, if (and I will) I am to purchase a used one.
Wow, thanks everyone for all the great comments/responses/ideas, etc, etc. Yeah, it's really a close choice for me, between the 700m and the 6000d. I'm still trying to think if that screen will indeed prove to be too small for me. Also, w/ either notebook, I'll still at least be able to run emulators and roms right? Or wrong (ie Sega Genesis, and SNES)? And, is V6 3.6L 2002 FORD Mustang, really a piece of crap (lol, this is drifting a bit from the topic)? Thanks again...
Hello. I'm going to be starting college on the 29th of August, and I need a laptop. Before you call me lazy, and a noob, or whatever other insults you can throw at me, hear me out:
I've been very badly wanting to purchase an Asus Z70V Refresh model, however, it can be quite pricey. I had the $2000 I needed to purchase it, but then, my parents made me an offer I can't refuse. They told me that I could use some of my money to buy a $1000 laptop, and use the remaining...
