Yeah, I have an 8887 and you can set the fans to be on at all times in the bios. It is in the power saving options. Just turn them off and the fans should stay on.

Not quite, but the people I am talking to are somewhat convinced it's the processor.
The "why" is because I don't want to drop 250 dollars on a new 3.06 processor. And if it is compatible I would be able to find out whether or not my processor is actually fried.
Does anyone know if I could put an intel celeron processor into my 8887. My friend said it was possible but has also fried quite a few motherboards in his day...so what does everyone here think? It's a 2.6 ghz one.
When I turn it on it doesn't even go to the BIOS or show the POST screen thing. So I am not really able to reformat since this is the case. And I did plug in an external monitor and I got nothing.
If I happened to need a replacement screen as per this problem where would be the place to get it? I think aussie posted a site a while back but I couldn't find it through searching. Also, any help with that problem would be great. ...
Hey everyone. Ok so heres the deal. I just reformated about a week ago and everything was fine. I installed direct x 9.0 because I wanted to play Need for Speed Underground and this is where I THINK my problems began, maybe not...
