I recently had to send my 8890 back to sager to have some stuff fixed (new keyboard and sound ports)...anyway, when I got it back, my wireless did not work at all. It's not like the drivers aren't installed...it's like the system...

yep the screen was on. hehe, I can even see it in the day time Don't you see a blinking red light when IR port is on? Mine is really bright and kind of hard to miss when it is on.

one other thing...does anyone else have a problem with the headphone jack where when you plug it in all the way it is much quieter than when you have it in about half the way? It's strange because when I do this, the onboard speakers...

I was getting an annoying "beep,beep,beep" clicking sound as well, but it happened through my speakers and my headphones both. Then one night I noticed that there was a little red light blinking through the infrared port...
